9:17 pm	How Not to Cheer Someone Up, by the X-Men With Kitty fused in a Giant Space Bullet and out in space somewhere, a lot of people miss her (like me). But nevertheless one person seems to miss her the most, and that is Piotr Rasputin. He just lives his life by rote, exercising, teaching "lifting heavy things," but not smiling and not painting. So his friends Logan and Kurt decide to cheer him up, and get the rest of the X-Men to help out. From X-Men Manifest Destiny #3, 2 1/2 pages of an 8 page story. Written by Christ Yost with pencils by Humberto Ramos. ( You were supposed to pick a fight with him, not fall apart. You flunk in life. ) (Comment on this)

9:44 pm	In Which Lian is Cute, Dinah is Awesome, and Roy has Issues... The Arsenal mini-series ran from October 1998 to January 1999 and was written by Devin Grayson with some pretty bad art by Rick Mays. It features Roy Harper aka Speedy aka Arsenal aka Red Arrow and his Issues. And boy, does he have a lot of them, from "Green Arrow never raised me right" (Ollie had died 3 years earlier in our time, more recently in comics time) to "I used to be a drug addict" to "I don't know where I belong!" and the most important one "I can't find a good babysitter!"
